Thanks for writing, Livio. To find ourselves it appears we must look in many directions before we look within, and walk down many paths before we walk our own, and we do so with no assurance that we have finally found ourselves. It just works best.

Finding our path by trial and errors is very costly, though. Do you think there’s some other way, Ron? I envy people that know what they wanna do in life since they’re very young.

Hi, Livio. I'm having to think twice. :) Being young and finding our paths are the exceptions. I don't think there is an easy way though it may appear that way at times.

I think faith is the only other way. We are each here with a purpose. We are capable, if we choose, of finding our path. We have only what is before us, and the faith that we are doing the right thing at the time.

We don't know the cost of our endeavors beforehand. Trials and errors are part of the deal, and without them we are missing out. We are enriched. We see how the world works.

Thanks for giving me something to think about!

So I guess it becomes crucial to learn how to enjoy the journey, without being too troubled by the uncertainty of where we are gonna end up next. Having some level of financial stability on the way might help.

But, still, I confess this is one of my biggest challenges. Sometimes leading me to give up, and just go for the easiest option. Which, in my case, is to go back to do what I have been doing for the past 10 years.

I am still looking for ways to get at ease with this high level of uncertainty, and enjoy "not knowing". But I feel I am not there yet. And I must say that I am relieved by the idea that I can give up.

Very well put. We look outside for fear of looking inside. Or because we are still not able to. And, by looking outside and walking the wrong paths, we might as well find ours. Or not!

Agree 100%. Been doing it for a lifetime. Not a particularly easy path but a rewarding one.

Finding your craft can be so liberating.

I love helping people and seeing things suddenly click for them. I think maybe it’s a deep down thing. I know I’m a people pleaser which can be good but also very draining.

True. It’s so liberating. And, when we get to find it, we can finally start to perfect it.
