As a kid, I jumped from a passion to another.
From guitar to soccer.
From sketching to modelling.
From cartoons to manga.
I struggled to stick to one sole thing.
And easily got bored.
This pattern has lasted since very recently.
When I took the time to try out many things.
To rediscover my passions.
To find new ones.
To follow what was making me shine.
And, trial after trial, I believe I succeeded.
I have identified my craft.
And my craft is writing.
Writing is energising.
Writing is enjoyable.
Writing allows me to connect with people.
To engage with readers in the comments.
To learn from fellow writers.
Writing allows me to voice my opinion.
To share what I am learning.
And to get back to it, when I forget.
When asked how to start writing, my reply is simple:
“Do not write”.
Rather, follow your passions.
Do what you find enjoyable.
And be authentic.
If you haven’t started writing until now, it might not be the right thing for you.
Habits that contrast with what you naturally do are bound to fail.
And will just be a heavy burden.
Rather, do what you are doing already!!
Do you sketch little doodles when you’re bored?
Open an Instagram account and publish them.
Do you spend time reading fashion articles?
Go on and share them.
Do you love reading books or listening to podcasts?
Put together a short summary, or video about that.
Do you endlessly watch youtube videos?
Summarise the content in one line and send it to your friends.
In this way, you might find what is enjoyable for you.
Make it into your unique signature.
And get recognition for it.
“Somebody is interested in everything”.
So, just be you.
Experiment.
And you will find your craft.
Have a passionate life journey,

Thanks for writing, Livio. To find ourselves it appears we must look in many directions before we look within, and walk down many paths before we walk our own, and we do so with no assurance that we have finally found ourselves. It just works best.
Agree 100%. Been doing it for a lifetime. Not a particularly easy path but a rewarding one.
